Medium: Painting and drawing
This class teaches students to develop a variety of motifs such as rural, shore, and city landscapes and still life subjects by working from the instructor’s photographs as well as their own. Students learn to design a successful composition and then apply the watercolor media in a successful, expressive manner. Demonstrations and class critiques are included.
All classes are held in the George D. Widener Studio, formerly the carriage house for the Woodmere estate. Transformed into a studio with north light, easy access, and free parking. Woodmere's studio provides a professional setting for a variety of art experiences. Classes and workshops are taught by the finest professional artists and instructors in the region. Registration is on a first-come, first served basis.

Cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the start date of the class. A $45 processing fee will be issued for cancellations within the week prior to the class starting date. No refunds for cancellations on the first day of class or after.
Woodmere reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. In the event of a cancellation, students will receive a refund.
