Medium: Painting and drawing
A combination of open studio space and instruction, allowing students to explore, take chances, develop critical thinking, and cultivate their artistic voices. Participants investigate basic color theory, learn how to create strong compositions, and develop technical skills. The choice of medium is up to each individual, with specific assignments and demonstrations encouraging students to pursue their personal styles and growth.
All classes are held in the George D. Widener Studio, formerly the carriage house for the Woodmere estate. Transformed into a studio with north light, easy access, and free parking. Woodmere's studio provides a professional setting for a variety of art experiences. Classes and workshops are taught by the finest professional artists and instructors in the region. Registration is on a first-come, first served basis.

Cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the start date of the class. A $45 processing fee will be issued for cancellations within the week prior to the class starting date. No refunds for cancellations on the first day of class or after.
Woodmere reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. In the event of a cancellation, students will receive a refund.
